What logic is that? so does it become more pay to win if you are F2P and you suck? lol I mean I guess so right? but wait what if I spend X dollars and I am good at the game then what happens?Īnd it certainly not a yes and no the agnostic answer. Its not P2W if you are you're good at the game. It's not P2W because if you spend 3 years in the game and you'll get there eventually champ. you can't use these excuses to make the game not pay-to-win. if you can spend X dollars to get the best things in the game and get ahead of everybody else then yes that's pay-to-win. The answer to this question in its simplest form is yes this game is pay-to-win. But the longer you're playing, then the P2W factor will be lesser than ever, to the point that you can catch up to them payers, as long as you spend your resources right, and play on the right rooms using your best units available. This way, you'll be maximizing your tokens, since these special banners sometimes gives guaranteed units.Īlso look out for units from the Recylce Shop, since that's also your best way in getting new units every week, and the DP shop, if your level is high enough.Īs for playing, new players is better playing in low & mid costs below the 500 cost, since that's where the most DP units is at, and you don't go beyond that until you expand your unit's roster.Īgain, this game can be pay-to-win sometimes, especially when you're a new player. If you'te a free player, then you don't splurge your tokens into regular banners, but instead you wait for the special ones, which gives more bonuses than the standard ones (these banners usually comes once a month, or there's always on every big event). If you spend $0 you're going to lose vs people that pay unless you are incredibly lucky or play for a while and spend that time getting stomped into the ground.Įven you can survive the game without paying, but you need to play smart, where you spend your tokens carefully, and only focused on playing at the rooms that you have access to your best units, instead of playing on the ones that you're lacking. Its a pay to win, 1v1 i dont think a 2 star has ever killed my 4 stars and a 3 star dies too unless there's multiple and even then half the time I win. Even if both players have the same skill the guy that spends $1000 will get an objectively better mobile suit so he has an advantage. Then if you have bad luck that's 1 pull that you can get some crap sword for a mobile suit you don't even have. Originally posted by Darkslayer16:"very frequently"? Wow 3 whole tokens from your dailies and maybe a couple a week from login. You can pay to get some new suit that looks fun.potentially. I guess the best way to say Pay to win? No cause if you suck you'll still suck in a new suit. You also earn the tokens very frequently in the game that are used to get pulls from the gatcha. You could have a temporary advantage but won't last very long if you're unaware how to play the suit. but it doesn't really make much of a difference. You can pay to get more chances in the Gatcha pool for suits/weapons/parts ect.
